Save your AI chat exports as local files on your device - 100% offline, no account, nothing uploaded.

By default, AI Chat Snapper saves exports as local files on your device. This is the most private option: nothing is uploaded, no account is required, and the extension can run fully offline.

Save a local file

  1. Open the conversation and click the extension.
  2. Choose a format (PDF, Word, PNG, Markdown, TXT, or JSON).
  3. Choose save locally and pick where the file goes.

The file lands in your Downloads folder (or wherever your browser saves files), exactly like any other download.

100% offline and private

Local exports are generated entirely in your browser:

  • Nothing is sent to a server.
  • No account or sign-in is needed.
  • No analytics, ads, or tracking.

This makes local export the right choice for sensitive conversations - your data never leaves your device.
